Welcome to Action for Good Governance Inc. (AGG), a Massachusetts-based charitable and educational organization committed to strengthening civic participation, promoting good governance, and building informed, engaged, and empowered communities. We believe that meaningful change begins with people who understand their rights and responsibilities, participate actively in the communities where they live, and work together across generations.
Through civic education, governance training, leadership development, continuing education, social and community services, and responsible advocacy, AGG equips individuals, particularly youth, volunteers, and community leaders, with the knowledge and capacity to participate effectively in public life, promote transparency and accountability, and contribute to the responsible stewardship of public institutions and resources. We mobilize financial, professional, and in-kind resources to advance this work, primarily in the United States while maintaining partnerships and initiatives that can extend its impact to Uganda and elsewhere. As a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational organization, AGG is committed to inclusion and equal participation without discrimination, and to building a strong civic community whose knowledge, relationships, leadership, and collective voice can become a force for good governance both here and, over time, beyond our shores.
